New / Old Job~!!

I finally got the call I have been waiting for! After three long years away, I am going back to work at the Passenger Terminal.

I am so excited to be back at Pax. My time there when I was active Duty, was fun, and for sure a learning experience. For right now, it's a temp job, good until 1 Nov 09. So I am going to make the most of it, and have a good time, plus make some money to boot!

While She Was Out

Kourtnee was lucky enough last week, to go on a trip with a friend to Disneyland! She was gone 5 days, and during that time her boyfriend and I made over her room.

She had said in the past that she wanted a red room. Knowing that an all red room would be too much, we painted one wall red, and the others gold.

We all couldn't wait until she got home, so we could show her what we did! She was surprised, and loved It!

Mario the Driver

Mario had the chance last week, to load an ambulance onto a C-17.

He said, as soon as he got in, he turned on the lights and hit the siren!

The loadmaster, told him that he couldn't wait until they downloaded it, so HE could play with the lights, and siren too! This just goes to prove, that all men have a little boy in them!

Rain

Today it's raining~!

We really need the rain. The lakes, and reservoirs are so low. We are looking at water rationing this summer. If that happens, everything will be brown and dead. But right now, I love to look at the hills that are by our house,they are bright green with new grass. I am sure it makes the cows happy to have tender green grass to munch on.

Finding Friends

Ok, so I am a little slow on some things. Facebook has been around awhile, and I have just now signed up. Oh my goodness, what a blast! I am finding friends that I haven't seen, or heard from in 20 something years! It's like this little spiderweb, it just keeps growing!
